Building Prompt Hierarchies

Purpose of a Prompt Hierarchy

Prompt Hierarchies in Welina have two purposes.
1. Marking correct or incorrect response for Trial-by-trial data.
2. Documenting the last prompt used and the history of prompts used for staff decision making and general analysis.

Set up your Prompt Hierarchies

  1. Navigate to Organization Setup > Programs > Prompts
  2. Select the button to begin building your Hierarchy
  3. Give your Prompt Hierarchy a title (e.g., Least-to-Most, or Correct/Incorrect). The name of your prompt hierarchy template will be used to select and assign it when building out your client programs/targets
  4. Select Add Prompt Levels to begin building out your prompt hierarchy.
    1. Label the prompt name and then select the response type (correct or incorrect). The response type you choose will determine how the data recorded for reporting purposes.  For example, if you select "Correct" for a gesture prompt, any time a gesture prompt is recorded, the response will be counted as correct.
  5. Optional:  Add in notes for your staff. These notes can be easily access by staff while they are taking data collection on the app.
