Check Claim Status in Availity

For those customers integrated with Availity as a clearinghouse, checking claim status can be a bit complicated.  Please follow the following steps to determine if your claims are rejected, accepted, processed or denied.

1.  Within Availity, go to Claims and Payments

2.  Within EDI Clearinghouse, Click on EDI Send and Receive files

3.  Select your organization

4.  Select "Receive Files"

5.  Select the file type and download as "text/plain".

This will download a readable file for you to download and indicate the status of your claim!
