Creating Lesson Notes on Welina Web

Creating Lesson Notes on Welina Web

Welina offers users the ability to create Lesson Notes and add corresponding Skill Acquisition, Behavior Reduction, and ABC data via Welina Web.

When creating Lesson Notes on the Web, users may create a Lesson Note to document services that occurred in the past (e.g. documenting a Family Guidance session that occurred yesterday, or an Assessment that occurred last week).

Admin users may also create Lesson Notes for another staff member, if that staff member was unable to complete their Lesson Note on the day of service in Welina App.

Alert
If a note created in Welina Web is later edited, the staff associated with the note will need to re-sign to attest to the edits in the App

Below is an example of a Lesson Note template created on Welina Web. It uses a combination of Dynamic Fields for Client (i.e. Client name and DOB), Staff (i.e. Staff name and Credential), and Appointment Data (i.e. Diagnosis Code, Place of Service Code). It also incorporates Custom Data Fields specifically for Lesson Notes, such as Service Modality, Interventions Used, and Session Summary.

Below is an example of how the template appears when completed as an official Lesson Note in the Welina App. Certain fields are automatically pre-populated by Welina (such as client alias, session date, start and end times, and duration). These are followed by the user-created template, which includes pre-populated Staff and Client information, as well as Custom Fields to be completed based on the specific session. The template concludes with automated signature blocks.
