Using Speech-to-Text to Complete your Lesson Notes

Aloha Data Collection is excited to offer speech-to-text capabilities in the Data Collection App. This functionality serves to simplify Lesson Note completion in the App – no more typing out lengthy paragraphs on a small keyboard. Users can simply speak the words they wish to document in their Lesson Note!

Here is how it works:

For Apple Users:

-            Click into the Text Box in the Lesson Note that you wish to enter text for

-            This will open up the phone’s keyboard to begin typing

-            Click the Microphone icon  on the bottom right of the keyboard

-            Speak aloud the words you wish to document

-            To Pause or Stop speech-to-text recording, click the Microphone icon again
