Billing
Modifier Validation
Billing Manager will now display a warning if you select a modifier that is not configured for the selected payer. This validation applies to both individual claim edits and Bulk Update actions. If one or more invalid modifiers are selected, you'll see a warning listing the unavailable modifier(s), helping prevent billing errors before claims are submitted.
Reports
Appointment Billing Summary: Contract Amounts Added
Two new columns have been added to the Appointment Billing Summary report to reflect the contract rate and amount in addition to the charge rate. This will give a more accurate picture as to what to expect in payment from your funders.
Client Aging Report: Last Payment
The last payment column of the Client Aging Report will now reflect the last payment made by the client, not the funder as this report reflects the aging of the client responsibility, not the insurance payer.
Service Appointment List: Custom Fields
Any Custom Field associated with “Schedule Appointment” will now be added as a column in the Service Appointment List report. This will better enable users to analyze custom fields for all appointments within a certain parameter.
As a reminder, custom fields can be updated under Settings > Custom Fields.
