How to Clear Your Browser's Cache and Cookies (Chrome)

Overview

If you are experiencing login issues or unexpected website behavior, clearing your browser’s cache and cookies can often resolve the problem. This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to clear cache and cookies using Google Chrome.

Instructions

  1. Open Chrome on your computer.

  2. In the top right corner, click the three-dot menu icon (More).

  3. Select Settings > Privacy and Security.

  4. Click Clear browsing data.

  5. In the pop-up window:

    • Choose a time range: Select All time to delete everything.

    • Select the data types you want to remove:

      • Ensure Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files are selected.

  6. Click Clear data.

Note: If you are signed into Chrome when clearing cookies, you will not be signed out of your Google Account.
