Release Summary Nov 2022

We are excited to announce the following new features/enhancements added to Aloha ABA: 

  1. Administrative users can assign staff a temporary password under Settings > Security > User Accounts, which users can use to login and reset their own passwords.
  2. Both staff and clients can opt in/out for text message notifications if “Text Messaging Services” settings is on. 
  3. Warning message appears if users schedule an overlapped appointment for the same payer/client/billing code.
  4. “Manage clinical team” in the “Staff” section allows users to group together both staff and/or clients, which can be used to pull up a group of both clients and/or staff in the schedule. 
  5. In “Schedule,” canceled appointments can be hidden from the calendar by selecting the drop down in the search bar at the top.
  6. Concurrent billing prevents unbillable overlaps.

2.      Step-by-step instructions coming soon in Help Center. 

  1. Appointments in “Billing Manager” can be filtered by “Staff Name” by selecting the drop down in the search bar at the top. 
  2. In Billing > “Verification Forms” section, you can choose the downloaded files to be in PDF or Word format. 
  3. In Payment Center, if the “Balance only” checkbox is unchecked, it will stay unchecked as you search through other clients and claims. 
  4. In Forms > “Generating Forms” section, you can choose the downloaded file to be in PDF or Word format.
  5. When printing a staff timesheet, we’ve added a new warning message in the footer that says “Timesheet hours may not match payroll hours due to overlapping appointments.  Overlapped appointments will only be paid once.”
  6.  In the Client Portal, data can be viewed for the last 120 days. 
  7. Report Enhancements: 

1.      We’ve added a new report called “Client Eligibility Check”. This report is useful for having all the info needed to contact your insurance companies and ensure their policy is still valid.

2.      When generating the “Staff Appointment List” Report, all staff are selected by default in the parameters. 

3.      Appointment forms info report now includes the Appointment ID #. 

4.      Staff List report now includes a column for inactive dates. 

5.      Staff Earning Code report now includes a column for status of staff (active vs inactive).

6.      Supervision tracking summary report now includes a column for Job Titles 

7.      Billing Ledger Report now includes a column for offices. 

8.      Payer List Report now includes a column for contract rates. 

9.      Appointment billing info Report now includes a DOB column. 

10.  Service List Report now includes a column for whether or not a form and/or file is attached to an appointment. 

11.  Expiration authorization report now includes a “Client Status” column 

  1. Motivity Integration

1.      Appointment status in Aloha will appear on Motivity. 

2.      Syncing batch appointments from Aloha to Motivity in “Sync Management” screen 

3.      General improvements
