Aloha Data Collection Release 2.5.0 Notes

We're excited to share the latest updates to Aloha Data Collection. This release includes enhancements designed to improve stability, performance, and the overall user experience, along with fixes for issues reported by customers. As always, your feedback continues to shape the platform, and we appreciate everyone who has taken the time to share suggestions and report issues. We encourage all users to update to the latest version to ensure they have access to these improvements and the best possible experience.

App Updates

Set a Target Order From Web and See it Reflected on App - Targets will now appear in the same sequence on the app as configured on the web, helping staff follow the intended program flow during data collection.


Program Execution Status - Program status now shows Not Started, Started, or Finished based on current session data, updating instantly as targets meet their criteria during execution, along with a new option to select program grouping.
Notes
Not Started = No data has been captured for any targets within the program.
Started = Some targets within the program have data captured but not all OR all targets have data recorded but the minimum trials required has not been met for all targets withing the program.
Finished = All minimum number of trials required has been collected for all targets within the program OR for targets with no minimum trial count requirement at least 1 trial of data has been captured.


Lesson Instructions Available During Sessions - Staff can now view lesson instructions while running a session, helping ensure lessons are delivered as intended without leaving the session screen.


Lesson Note Status Now Visible on App - Users can now view the current status of a lesson note, including rejection feedback when applicable, directly within the lesson note screen.


Edit ABC Data After Lesson Completion - Staff can now add new ABC entries and update existing ABC data in completed lesson notes, with full access to all configured ABC options on the app.

Analytics Updates

View Target Mastery Progress Chart in Skill Acquisition - Program Management users can now see target mastery trend chart (Cumulative Graph) directly within the Skill Acquisition view, making it easier to review progress in one place.


Session Note Updates

Lesson Note Time Labels Updated - Lesson Notes now display Actual Start/End Time and Scheduled Appointment Start/End Time, making it easier to distinguish session times from appointment times during review and auditing.


Automatic Removal of Inactive Appointment Links from Lesson Notes - Lesson Notes will now automatically unlink appointments that have been deleted or marked inactive in Aloha, with the action recorded in the audit history as a system-generated update.

Staff Credentials Now Included in Lesson Notes (Web Only) -Staff certifications can now be maintained in profiles and are automatically shown with staff and approver signatures in lesson notes with Electronically Signed By attestation. (Coming to the App soon!)
Notes
1. To ensure staff credentials show with signatures you must fill out the new "credentials" field built inside the staff profile. We recommend you complete this in preparation for this feature to be added to staff signatures from the App.


General Updates

Remove 8‑Hour Limit for Appointment Lesson Notes (App & Web) - Lesson notes via appointments on mobile now continue beyond 8 hours without auto‑completion, and allow users to edit duration beyond 8 hours while keeping existing time validations intact. In addition, users can now edit sessions time / create sessions from the Web for durations longer that 8 hours. This was designed to help improve service delivery for residential home service models.

Improved Document Access and User Controls - New role-based permissions provide controlled access to documents, and users without assigned Web permissions can no longer access the platform.

Role-Based Filtering for Roles & Permissions - Users can now filter the Roles & Permissions list by Role Type, Web Access, and App Access to quickly find relevant roles.
